Have you seen Simon Beck's snow creations?!
This gentleman is a map maker who was educated at Oxford, and loves mathematical patterns and geometric designs. He spends his winters at a French Ski Resort and makes snow art by walking through the snow to create patterns. He uses snow shoes and a sighting compass to create his walking masterpieces. He walks 5-9 hours a day, typically needing 2 days to complete the figures, which often span the area of 3 soccer fields. He sometimes needs to redesign his creation if snow falls during the night before he captures the art on film.
What kind of snow creations have you made?
